TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — Tucson Police are investigating a homicide off 5400 East William Boulevard. Police say it happened on December 30th just after 2:30 a.m.
Police responded after a report of a stabbing. Upon arrival officers located a man identified as 26-year-old Randy Allen with signs of sharp force trauma. First responders began life-saving measures and Tucson Fire transported him to Banner Medical Center with life threatening injuries.
After arriving at the hospital he was pronounced dead.
Officers say they detained a female suspect. Detectives say they learned that Mr. Allen had been in a verbal altercation with the woman who he was in a relationship with. After the verbal altercation turned physical they say Allen was injured.
After further investigating they did not charge the 24-year-old female. The investigation is ongoing.
